Florida's economy unemployment rate drops in May 2010

In May, for the second month in a row, Florida's economy unemployment rate dropped to 11.7 percent. This marked the first time Florida has seen two monthly declines in a row since the post World War II record of 12.3 percent in March.

The economy jobless unemployment rate fell to 11.7 percent in the Tampa Bay area compared to 12 percent in April, with rates trending down in every area county.
