A new 700,000 square foot Miami commercial real estate project is planned for Wilton Manners. The cost of this new luxury resort is estimated at $80 million and scheduled for completion in 2011. New York-based G Worldwide says their Miami commercial real estate project will bring over 500 new jobs to the area.
This is the first in a series of projects catering to the LGBT community that the company plans on doing. The company claims to be the first-ever LGBT luxury-lifestyle resort and brand with a goal of building a collection of hotels, resorts and Miami vacation rentals and clubs designed specifically for the LGBT traveler.
Located at 1224 NE 24th Street, the property is a short walk from the Wilton Drive entertainment district and will offer visitors an assortment of shopping and nightlife options. The new luxury resort will feature many amenities including a fitness center, spa, nightclub and a variety of dining options. The resort also plans to offer a rooftop lounge and garden, as well as an art gallery and banquet center.
G Resort will also offer a section for timeshare and allow visitors to purchase units in the building. The resort will offer 172 units featuring four unique floor plans including three-story, 3,000 square foot penthouse suites which promise to offer visitors superior luxury amenities.
